Google Business Profile as a Growth Channel
For a Dubai-based legal services firm with offices in multiple districts, I built out their Google Business Profile comprehensively and implemented a systematic review acquisition programme. Within four months, their map pack appearances for target terms increased by 3x and phone enquiries from Google increased by 180%.
The key interventions: complete category optimisation, weekly posts with local keywords, photo refresh with geo-tagged images, and a structured process for asking satisfied clients to leave reviews within 48 hours of service.
Ranking for District-Specific Terms
A hospitality client wanted to rank for restaurant searches in their specific Dubai district. They were not appearing in the map pack for their most important terms despite having a physically nearby location.
The fix was a combination of profile optimisation and on-site content: a dedicated page targeting their district, with content about the neighbourhood, nearby landmarks, and parking information. Combined with 15 new genuine reviews, they moved from outside the top 10 to position 2 in the local map pack within 90 days.
Multi-Location Local SEO
For a retail chain with six Dubai locations, I built a location SEO architecture: separate, optimised GBP listings for each store, location-specific landing pages on the website, and a review strategy that built each location's rating independently.
The result: the chain appeared in local map packs for all six locations' target areas, effectively multiplying their local search presence sixfold from the single generic presence they had before.
